Goal respects loyalty, as displayed when she discovered Cletus's true self, she picks her friends wisely, and seeks people whom she can trust, often shaping such people to grow and become more like herself: Compassionate, strong-willed, and faithful. She is a loving individual and is faithful to those who return the gesture. She shows compassion to the Deponians and has the strength to stand for what is right. She has a resolute personality and will often contradict or challenge orders. Goal is one for action and is not one to shy away from arguing her point. When she discovered life, she was compelled to ensure the planet's survival. However, Goal is a compassionate Elysian when her people flippantly chose to annihilate Deponia whether it was inhabited or not, Goal insisted that Cletus accompany her to investigate the planet to ensure nobody would be harmed. Goal’s untampered personality is hard to describe, as for the majority of the game her mind is twisted, broken, and corrupted by Rufus. She also has gloves with small green buttons on them, pale gray boots with a green sole and green rectangles near the edge. On the back of her head, Goal wears a pale green headband. There is a long zipper line down the middle, a pale green rectangle on the neckline, and a pale green sewn-on belt that circles almost all the way around the waist. She wears a white, sleeveless, turtleneck jumpsuit. The thin metal edge of her cartridge shows on her left temple. She has wide eyes, long eyelashes, and pink blush patches on her cheeks. She has straight, waist-length, bright orange hair. Adventure fans who haven’t played Depoina yet: go back to the start and enjoy the trilogy for the beginning before trying this alternate timeline.Goal is a tall, pale Elysian. Nope, this does not throw open the doors of the adventure genre like The Walking Dead did, but for series fans it is a must. Let's go around againĭepoina Doomsday certainly knows its audience and is not trying to capture anyone outside that group. It even manages to add extra mechanics to the adventure format, like searching for a pink elephant's footprints using a shard of tachyon-infused glass. It’s all entertaining though and, providing you can keep the action moving past possible frustrations, every run through an area does add new layers. Release Name : Deponia Doomsday Update v-CODEX Size : 437 MB GOOGLE. Title: Deponia Doomsday Genre: Adventure, Indie Developer: Daedalic Entertainment Publisher: Daedalic Entertainment Release Date: 1 Mar, 2016. Here, however, this mechanic is exacerbated by the fact you can’t be sure if something that isn't working now will be right in a future timeline. You need the following releases for this: Deponia Doomsday-CODEX. Like many point-and-click games, this can result in random confused-clicking. But in Deponia Doomsday that is just a single logic-chain among multiple repetitions, so you don’t always know what you need when. Yup, it’s an classic adventure, so you need a tap to get the honey in order to stick a beard to a child so you can capture bees. This can prove particularly trying if you are unfamiliar with the Deponia series’ convoluted logic. But on your third rerun of the first area you can start to feel like things are stagnating, at which point your patience may wear thin. Thanks to some pretty sharp writing, good voice acting, and overall strong cartoon presentation, this is never punishingly repetitive. That said, revisiting all three previous Deponias does result in a good environmental variety. Many of the areas you visit are familiar to series fans, while the time traveling nature of the game means that even these situations repeat within the course of the game. Only all is not as it should be, and as you tussle with the time traveling McChronicle, you and Rufus relive the tale with a new twist.ĭeponia Doomsday is a game that is economic with its assets. After being taken through the basics, everything suddenly stops and time rewinds to the beginning of the very first Deponia where fans can once again relive the opening of the series. This is where the tutorial begins – and yes, that gruff voice IS David Hayter of Metal Gear Solid fame. It seems all did not go according to plan, and down on Deponia the planet has frozen over. Starting off with a dramatic retelling of the original trilogy, Deponia Doomsday quickly shows the after effects of the choices made by Rufus at the end of Goodbye Deponia.
